Product Description

Product introduction

The FS800 series automatic dispensing machine is a next-generation inline dispensing solution designed for new energy vehicle (NEV) lithium battery FPC-FFC manufacturing where ultra-large panel handling, multi-branch assembly, and precision solder paste/adhesive application are mission-critical.

This robust system provides an impressive single-valve dispensing range up to 2800mm or 2530mm with dual valves, supported by a dual-track architecture that enables high-volume continuous operation with minimal downtime. A major advantage of the FS800 series is its optional concentric screw valve configuration, which ensures highly stable delivery for precision applications such as NTC branch assembly, solder paste spotting for critical solder joints, and nickel tab branch bonding.

Problem → Cause → Solution

Problem: FPCs used in EV battery modules require precise adhesive application and verification to avoid electrical faults and poor sealing.
Cause: Manual application or limited automation can cause uneven dispensing, misplacement, and missed defects that lead to rework or field failures.
Solution: This 6‑axis system provides full orientation access, controlled material temperature, and inline signal detection so dispensing is correct and electrical checks are performed immediately; validated recipes reproduce the process reliably.

Primary applications

  • Adhesive dotting, dispensing application and sealing for FPC connectors and EV battery sensors.
  • Local sealing around terminals and cable exits where electrical continuity must be checked.
  • Inline production with dispensing route traceability and immediate signal verification.

How the system operates

  1. Prepare material: install valve or connect needed module; set target temperature per adhesive spec.
  2. Load workpiece: select workpiece or receive from factory system; camera locates reference marks and corrects coordinates.
  3. Dispense & check: 6‑axis head positions the tip, applies adhesive per program, then the built‑in signal detection checks electrical continuity or sensor outputs.
  4. Record & trace: inspection results and workpiece ID are saved for traceability and SPC.

How to pick the right setup

  • For high‑viscosity sealants or filled adhesives choose heated feed and larger tips.
  • If you need both speed and coverage, add multiple heads and run coordinated dispensing.
  • For critical electrical checks, validate the inline signal detection method with your parts during a sample run.

Installation & maintenance

Installation: floor‑mounted or inline product line; connect mains, filtered compressed air, network and conveyor I/O; ensure ESD precautions where required.
Commissioning: perform a material × tip × temperature × motion matrix to create validated operations and inspection criteria.
Maintenance: clean needles daily under heavy use; verify heating elements and detection probes periodically; calibrate camera monthly.

FAQ

Q: Which adhesives are supported?
A: Hot melt and epoxy sealants commonly used in EV FPC assembly; for filled materials use heated feed and confirm with a sample run.
Q: What does the signal detection verify?
A: Detection checks are configurable — contact continuity, sensor response or optical presence checks can be run immediately after dispensing.
Q: Can the machine be linked to factory systems?
A: Yes — this machine can be linked locally and exchanged with factory systems for traceability and batch logging.
