Product Description

Product Overview

This dispensing system is designed for small‑feature work on optical modules and FPCs. It supports micro‑jet, syringe and valve heads so you can produce nL‑scale dots or µL beads as required. The machine combines a precise motion stage, recipe control and optional vision alignment to place very small deposits consistently across panels. Mounting and integration options match robotic workcells and inline lines.

Problem

Many optical and FPC assembly processes fail when glue volumes are too large or placement is off, causing bridging, shorts or optical defects.

Cause

High density pads and tiny vent holes require very small, repeatable deposits and precise alignment. Standard syringe or manual methods cannot reliably make nL drops or correct for part shift, leading to rework and yield loss.

Solution

This dispenser uses a micro‑jet head for nL drops or syringe/valve heads for larger dots, paired with a high‑precision motion stage and optional camera alignment. The system stores recipes (pulse, pressure, coordinates) for repeat runs and supports quick nozzle swaps and purge routines to reduce downtime. Vision checks ensure each deposit is within tolerance before the part moves on.

Application

  • Mini and micro optical modules: lens glue, spacer tack, and vent‑hole dosing.
  • FPC connector and pin bonding: tiny adhesive dots on narrow pads.
  • Sensor and camera module assembly: precise placement near optics and contacts.
  • Pilot lines, R&D and production runs that require fast recipe recall and low changeover time.

How It Works

A selected dispense head (micro‑jet or syringe) is mounted on the motion stage. The controller moves to programmed coordinates; an optional camera locates fiducials and corrects for shift. The head issues a timed pulse or jet to deposit the set nL/µL volume. Recipe parameters (pulse width, frequency, pressure, nozzle) are saved for repeatability. Purge and brief cleaning cycles prevent nozzle clogging in long runs.

How To Choose

  1. Target volume and pitch — if you need nL drops, choose the micro‑jet head; for µL dots use syringe/auger.
  2. Provide adhesive data (viscosity at working temperature and solids) so we can confirm head compatibility.
  3. Specify part size and required working area to size X/Y/Z travel.
  4. Choose vision alignment if parts shift or if tight pitch requires per‑part correction.
  5. Decide integration: conveyor, robot end‑effector, or bench station; share mechanical/electrical interfaces.
  6. Request a bench trial with your parts and adhesive to lock settings before rollout.

FAQ

Q1: Can this machine place dots on 0.5mm pitch FPC pads?
A1: Yes. With a micro‑jet head and optional vision alignment it can place micro‑drops at 0.5mm pitch; provide panel drawings for verification.

Q2: Which head should I choose for my adhesive?
A2: Micro‑jet for nL drops, syringe/auger for µL deposits and higher viscosity fluids. Send adhesive viscosity and sample for a precise head recommendation.

Q3: How do you avoid nozzle clogging with nL work?
A3: Use low‑dead‑volume micro‑jet heads, run regular purge cycles, and follow the recommended cleaning schedule; we supply spare nozzles for quick swaps.

Q4: Is the system easy to integrate with my robot or line?
A4: Yes. Standard PLC and robot interfaces are supported; provide your interface details and we will prepare integration guidance.

Q5: Do you offer testing with our parts and adhesive?
A5: Yes. Send parts and adhesive data (viscosity at working temp and SDS). We run a bench test, record logs and return recommended settings.
